It’s coming home! The SUBBUTEO World Cup kicks off in style as a giant SUBBUTEO Player flies into Tunbridge Wells. 78 years after its invention, SUBBUTEO is coming home, to Tunbridge Wells, the town where it was invented by Peter Adolph in 1948, for the playing of the SUBBUTEO World Cup 2024. Kicking off the competition in style, Tunbridge Wells welcomed a giant Subbuteo Player, that was flown in and air dropped into the town, that created quite a buzz! Last month saw us out at our annual team sales meeting and it was a fun-filled and informative couple of days.  The whole team had great fun learning and playing some of our top family games - we are quite a competitive bunch so keep an eye on our social channels for videos of some of the games we played! We also had an amazing afternoon getting up close and personal with some new animal friends at Woburn Safari Park. It was definitely a day to remember!    

University Games and Lagoon, are delighted to be celebrating an internal promotion as well as welcoming a new starter this spring, contributing to the important growth of both the Sales and Marketing teams. Toby Hall, who joined University Games in 2021 as a Sales Administrator, has now being promoted to Area Sales Manager for the South-East area, joining the business’ nationwide-strong sales team of the games, puzzles and gift specialists.
